any awpers in css?

so many people just camp forever! not enough people have real skill with the awp. im tired of playin with the majority of the idiots in the game. i want to get a gnarly clan going, need people that are pretty damn good at awping. want to scrim? sol66 is my steam. lets do it!

i hate the people that awp and desert eagle, im more of an AK guy myself.. I dont play css as much anymore because i got slaughtered, and I hate always playing dust2

The Deagle is a great gun and not by any means an advantage. All guns have their own play style. Some are a bit harder to learn and use well. Sometimes it seems like someone is doing better because of the gun, but its really because that gun is a bit easier to learn. Iv been playing since 1.3 and I still think its a great game. I rejected CSS at first because I had to relearn things, but either way good stuff. As far as maps....dude theirs a ton of them. Fy maps have always been my favorite and if you want practice get on an fy death-match server.

I only play gun game on CSS anymore. It is the only mod I have fun with. When all you play is gun game you get good with all the guns. My favorite gun is either the AK or the M4, but I will head shot you all day long with those guns.

I actually prefer to knife people and when I was active in GG I was the number 1 knife killer for a long time.

first off, whats wrong with awpers? i only awp in awp-only servers.

otherwise im in gungame servers or cs_crackhouse maps.

also, if awps are n00b (haha), explain your reasoning. i dont think they are n00b!!11! because you only get 1 shot and you HAVE to make it count, because everyone else can spray n pray you to death before you get to finish reloading.

It is noob because it is 1 shot kills, where as any other gun unless you get a head shot 1 shot does not kill. I can no scope with an awp, and in gun game I rush with it to make no scoping easier.

There is nothing really wrong with it, but it is kind of a cheesy weapon is all. If you are good with it you are good, if you are bad with it you won't last long, but it is a gun that takes less skill in my views.

Well its true to a point man. The Awp requires the user to be stationary. The Scout can HS while the person is moving. Its all about your skill set. Like I said before some are easier to master then others.

no it doesn't. I rush and no scope with the awp all the time. All you have to do is make contact and the other dude is dead. You can also move and snipe as well, the scout just allows you to move faster that is the only real difference.

Trust me, in real life you would have to sit or lay prone to accurately fire that AWP.

Well no one in RL can stand and accurately shoot while strafing.
Theres multiple techniques, but from what I know you cant be moving and hit someone zoomed in. People used to jump out zoom and fire while crouched for a reason. You can not be in motion while firing the awp(you can....but its not at all accurate). Really id like to see a vid of what your talking about bro. I just dont ever remember seeing anyone running around and scoping people with the awp, however scoutknifez should be proof enough.

ive never been a fan of awpers or using the gun in general i personally hate getting shot in the toe and dying.

I usually play on servers that dont allow it

I prefer scout...quieter and same result if you got the aim.

I dunno if it is still true but many years ago on CS 1.6 I would have a CRT monitor with 3 different colored dots so I could no-scope with my favorite primary weapons and have a very high HS/Hit % and id have it set for spray and pray via running with orange dots.

Worked really well...got me banned from many servers for ppl thinking I was cheating :p


Also I notice most ppl who call a weapon "noob" just sucks so much at using it and is beat like a redheaded step child with them. You would call a Glock a "noob" weapon when you saw the abuse I could unload with it.

kinda off topic but I'd like to see a realism mod for cs-s, where all rifle & pistol rounds can kill within 1-2 shots... awp would then be very useless.


Yep, 1-2 shot kills, can shoot through walls and flashbangs can't blind you from around a corner... that would make me want to play cs-s again :D

it would defeat the whole money system, but I agree. CSS takes little talent to get good at. I can not play the game for over a year and come right back in and win at gun game, but that I guess is also why it is fun. It is easy to pick up on.

Also, not every 1 to 2 shots is a guaranteed kill, and if recoil were anywhere near real the game would lose it's appeal to it's audience.

CSS is one of those games though where you can most of the time obviously tell when people are hacking.
