Quick answer....NO.

What resolution will you be gaming at? You need atleast a 5670 to play MW2 at anything decent, maybe a 5750 or even a 5770 if you can afford it.

Only if you are playing 1280x1024 or less will a 5670 be decent, and that won't even get you to high settings really. You'll need atleast a 5750 for 1280x1024 on high settings, and a 5770 will do high settings on up to 1920x1080.

Depends on the resolution....I tried a 3870 and it would not play with ANY anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering at all even at 1600x900 resolution. It would play about 40-50 FPS at 1920x1080, again no AA or AF. This is a 3870 with 512mb of GDDR4, the best of the 3k series pretty much (except the X2).

A 9600gt is about 10% less performance than a 9800gt. It will be able to play MW2, but not at the settings you want.

And PLEASE tell us what resolution you will be gaming at, it's a HUGE factor in video card selection.

I'm really sorry. I'd like to be gaming at 1280x1024. Well.. that's what my resolution is set as for windows in general, so I guess i'd want that for gaming too.

I may be able to stretch to £65. That does look like a nice deal.

There is a big difference between the 4670 and 4850. 320 stream processors, versus 800 stream processors. the 4850 is much better than the 4670, i have used both ;)

You must play at 1024x768 then.

A 4670 is not a very strong card at all.
