thinking of upgrading my graphics card

specs:
xfx radeon 5770 vcard
gigabyte p55ud6 motherboard
intel i5 core pu
full tower coolmaster haf
1tb hard drive
750w psu

what would u suggest to make my bad video card match my other specs?

5850 worth it? possibly even the 5970, im not too familar to nvidia cards.
what would u suggest?

5850 its in a whole diff league than the 5770

Another 5770 for crossfire
Or 5870 1GB

If you can afford it then sure 5970.
But if not then 5850 or a 5870

5970 isn't even needed really. A single 5870 will play any game at any resolution. The 5970 is just for high benching competition results.
