Good free firewalls??

Hi all..... i am looking for a good free firewall that i can secure my system and my wireless internet connection. any suggestions? i am trying to stay away from those programs that annoy you constantly if you know what i mean.

ZoneAlarm

ZoneAlarm is a great free firewall and is works on older systems as well.

Comodo is pretty good, or zonealarm.

zone alarm is great BUT it will bottle neck your system, slowing it down,,,i would go with filseclab personal firewall, very simple, less system resource hog and works great...

Pc tools firewall is a good one and by default offers less alerts than others.

If your running Windows then use their firewall.

If your connected to a router then it's possible that you'll have a hardware firewall too.

Do you feel the need for an additional firewall?

I just use a Router, and the Windows Firewall.

i use and like comodo. it is rated one of the best and it is free. just watch if you install it , not to install the tool bar and browser.
