Connecting to TV

How will I know if a graphics card will have the ability to connect to my big screen TV?

If it has HDMI then use that. Otherwise use a DVI>HDMI adapter.

What card and tv do you have?

The TV is last year's model Samsung 50" Plasma. It has several HDMI connections.

I do not have a card yet, as I am waiting for more advice from this site to help me build the computer. One person responded with a PC Combo from Newegg. Still waiting for more responses.

DVI to HDMI adapter does not always work...

Didn't work with my Sony...

I just use the VGA connector.

you could also use an S-video if you have one
