Nice work...I have always loved the black interior of a case.

Is that what the V8 is for?

Yup, for dorm life. I wanted to experiment with an air cooler and needed my system to be quieter.

+ it matches the red fan/tube :D

Did you powder coat? Anodize? Spray paint and primer? Stain or otherwise dye it?

Just curious of your technique. I'm far past my days of modding but other members might enjoy the info.

I first did some light sanding, then wiped it down to get all of the grain off. I applied metal primer, then used a flat black color spray paint. To finish it up, I used a non-gloss sealer.

Edit: All of which were bought at my local Wal Mart

I wish I would have taken process pictures :/

How well does the texture match the exterior? My brother is consering doing this to his HAF 912 at some point.

The interior flat black is a little more smooth than the outside. I think they use a powder coat for the outside. They both are pretty similar however.
