Need an A3 MOBO

I have all my other parts on the way, I just haven't picked out a new MOBo yet as I'm not real versed on that game anymore.

I have an AMD Phenom II 955 and am looking for a decent Motherboard.

This rig will mainly be for gaming and the like. Maybe some slight over clocking, but nothing insane. Two x16 PCI-E would be nice in case I go to crossfire in the future. Also, needs to full ATX, not micro.

Can someone offer some suggestions? I'll likely order it tonight if possible. Thanks. :)

Well right now I just have a 4870, eventually will go with something less power hungry in the future when the prices come down a wee bit.

But someone needs to explain the power phase thing to me. I've never known of it before, and seems to be mentioned here a lot.

I think it has to do with:
power supply to the cpu..want enough for the MB to not 'struggle'
ocing and sustained oc's.....
power ripple....

The Power Phase for the CPU and CPU/NB

Say like a 8+2 phase setup. 8 for the CPU and 2 for the CPU Northbridge. Each phase usually has 2 mosfets/1 choke and 1 cap. The more phases you have, the more they divide the power supplied to the CPU. Say if it was only a single phase, it would be working all the time and generating alot of heat. A 2 phase would be 50/50 and so on. So the more phases you have, the less each one is working and generating less heat and more efficiency.

Do you want one with integrated graphics or not? Personally I prefer a board with an IGP for backup.

I really don't need or require one. aside from my 4870 I have a cheapie old one that came with a part I bought a few years ago. still PCI-E but doesn't require a cooler or extra power. So really, it's not nessisary.

I love crosshair IV formula with 890fx chipset perfect for overclocking, no integrated graphic because you will need pci-e card anyways, integrated supremefx and turbo key witch overclocks your cpu, supports crossfire with triple channel. Price is 209$ with shipping
