I want to upgrade my graphics card. Why you ask?Im geting tired of videos(youtube & movies) laging even when it shows they are buffered out.And I know its probly not possible on this computer, but I would like to run playstation 2.
I can run ps1 just fine, but ps2 having more trouble.I will give you the specs I think you will probly ask for.Sorry if its TMI.
But I want to make sure I get the right type & one that would be worth buying.

Upgrading the video card probably won't keep youtube from lagging.. running on a 1.6Ghz processor with SDRam is your problem. At this point, I'd suggest keeping an eye out on craigslist for a newish computer, I really wouldn't 'invest' anymore money into this thing.. save up for something else.

I had a feeling this would be said lol.Im not geting another pc anytime soon.Unless someone has a complete dualcore working tower for $60 lol.
Would either of these work & be a decent upgrade? And if so,which would be beter?

Well it doesn't need to be a dual core, for $60 you could at least find something quite a bit better on craigslist or eBay. Of those two, the 9200 has barely better performance.

With a Dell 160w PSU, you'd blow it up if you plug in too many usb devices, let alone a respectable GPU. Sorry, but your computer is a lot more trouble than its worth to upgrade. You likely could find something better for your budget used, it won't be good, but it could be a huge improvement lol. Your computer is a dead end, and if you get a graphics card and put in it, you won't have any computer at all and you'll have wasted the only pocket money you have. Time to start pinching pennies bud.

Yea, honestly you're just wasting money and time on this computer. I'd sell this one on craigslist, I guarantee there's something better on there you could buy.. this thing just isn't worth spending another dollar on.

Ok ill take your guys input and give 2 thumbs down on geting a new card.I will probly have this junker for a lil while.Im currently unemployed. It does fine for me for what I usualy do on computers, just sucks when it comes to games.I guess ill just add a new HD for it since im down to 4.2GB.Which won't last long at all for me lol. When I get a new pc,ill just take it out when I throw this pc to the curb.Thank you all for your help, its very much appreciated:) .
