Haha, not a problem, that's a surprisingly decent computer for the price.. it'll be fairly easy to upgrade down the road as well.

Welcome to the forums! :)

I don't mean to offend, but that ibuypower is a fairly awful computer for gaming...an Athlon II x2 and a 5450 isn't going to do much. You CAN game on it, but pretty much everything will be on the lowest settings, or very close to it, and even then you'll have trouble spots.

They also don't list the power supply, which is usually a bad thing with iBuypower or Cyberpower. There's probably some cruddy Xion or Raidmax unit in there. The power supply s the most important part of your system...you really, really don't want a bad one.

BTW, "CPU" refers to the processor, not the computer itself. This is a CPU:

If you're not averse to building one yourself (it's easy), this would beat the poop out of that iBuypower:

^ yup, they will deliv to your door and the shipping is cheap or free.
And if you have ?'s, they can be answered right here @ CF.
A-Data is 21$ and I bet there's a combo or 2 to get under it under $500

I would've suggested building one yourself however you said you can't order online, for whatever reason. Building your own is usually the best option, here it certainly would be if you could order online.

also, keep an eye out on the equipment for sale forum here as well as sometimes you can get awesome deals.

The good thing about building your own is you know exactly what you have down to the last wire installed. Plus you know you going to be installing decent parts and like the other person said the PSU is the most important part. Never cheap out on those as you can get away with AMD instead of Intell as that is normally what I do.

Will put it to this way as CPU's are like cars/trucks. For instance say you have a Dodge Ram that has a 5.1L v8 (amd).... intell is like the 5.8L v8.

If you on a budget as all the computers I do normally are I go with AMD. Never had an issue with them and tiger direct has a great deal on AMD right now as I am going to find that link now for you.

I go back and forth from Tiger and Newegg whoever has the best bang for the buck that day. However, you can get a 500gig HD for $40 or 1TD for $60 after rebates and all that jazz.

guess nobody knew you were 10 years old.. Then I would search on craigslist and ebay for deals as that would be your best option if building one isnt an option.

I will probably have to say that 95% of the people here build their own computers.

That computer from Walmart is decent for the price but you get what you paid for and if you wanted to play those games then you would need to upgrade the vid card.
