I upgraded to the 6-core i7-970 last week and am now selling my Quad Core i7-940.

This is a 2.93ghz quad core CPU with hyper-threading (total of 8 threads)

I bought this CPU new back in July 2010. This is for Intel's 1366 socket motherboards. Both heatsink/fans are brand new and have never been installed or used.

Price
i7-940 + stock & Extreme Intel heatsink/fan (blue LED fan): $200

Let me know if you have any other questions :)

How well does it clock? What voltage for 4ghz fully stable?

I'm not much of an overclocker. The most i have ever pushed it for a few bench marks was 160 bclk with a 22x multi. That was at stock or almost stock voltage. I never had any issues or crashes with Prime95 at the 160 bclk.

I will see if i have any screen shots of CPU-Z of those settings when i get home from work.

This is one of my 3dmark06 tests at 160 bclk
