CF slow?

Well I have just joined here three days ago and I have not noticed CF being slow everything has loaded fast and my post goes through within a few seconds.

Yeah yeah. Any excuse to boost that post count of yours. Because post counts are everything on here and what not... lol kidding. I used to have that problem but I can't for the life of me remember how I resolved it. I think I recall it being a cookie / browser error somewhere down the line. Notice the same posting problem when using another browser?

The forums, again, used to be slow'ish for me but at the moment they seem to be flying in speed with no problems any more what so ever. I assume the loading speed of it is more so down to the service provider for the server than user side? What with the majority of us noticing speed differences.

It comes in spikes. Occasionally you will find that posts take a short while to post or edit and sometimes it can seem that the site is totally unresponsive, but just give it a minute or two and it is fine

Ive reset my Modem & Router several times,released and renewed my Ip address...still the same :/

CF was incredibly slow for me yesterday, it was like slow dial up. But then again, our connection dies sometimes anywya.

Actually I will be posting a sticky, It would help if you post the time the slowness occurred and the link to the thread you were posting in or where you were when it occurred. We have a general idea of what may be going on but this would help us to prove our theory or disprove it.
