Graphics card stopped working

I've been playing battlefield 2 on my pc using the following video card:
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 7500LE

All of a sudden the card stopped working. It wont let the pc boot up. If I take the card out, the pc works fine. So, I guess the card's dead or something.

But anyway, I need to buy a replacement. Unfortunately, I'm a total noob and have no idea what to get. I dont know how video cards work. I'm only going to be using this pc to play Battlefield 2 only. Here is the official system req for bf2:

Video card must have 256 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
ATI Radeon 8500 or greater

Whats the cheapest thing I can get that will get me going?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I'm not sure what specific info you need regarding the mother board. But here is what Everest generated . . .

Motherboard Properties:
Motherboard ID 63-0100-000001-00101111-090506-RS400$RC410-M_BIOS DATE: 09/05/2006 VER: 08.00.12
Motherboard Name Unknown

Front Side Bus Properties:

Bus Width 64-bit
Real Clock 200 MHz (QDR)
Effective Clock 800 MHz

The mobo has 2 pci slots and 1 pci express slot available. My video card that stopped working used to be in the pci express slot.

My price range is up to $100.

Thanks.
