The 955 and the 965 are basically the same cpu. The 965 just comes from AMD with a stock .2mhz more. Since the 955 is also a black edition and oc's well and easily, all you have to do is make an easy multiplier adjustment in the bios and you have a 965. Some oc much as 4.0 or higher depending on the mb and cooling. The mb in your list can handle it and you can go to 3.4-5 on the stock cooler, maybe more but there's a simple check and balance process for temps if you want to go higher. With a 3rd party heatsink 3.8-4.? can usually be achieved.

Don't know where you are on budget cuz I didn't add.

Not that the Blitz is bad, I just thought I'd list a couple others.
You can still get the $12 off on the 7200.12 buying it separately.

Going to build it on a metal table on a concrete floor. I am going to place a sheet or white towels on the table just to make sure everything is clean and I can locate parts if they fall out of my hand and nothing rolls off the table. Will this work ok?

Guard against tatic. Clothes/cloth too. Ground yourself by touching the case metal before handling the parts.. Cardboard is good too.
