Any full screen application, games included, will bind your mouse so it can't go outside of that application, which is why you can't take it to the other monitor. Some will have it so when a cursor is showing, you can drag it over, but clicking on another window or the desktop on your second monitor will cause the game to minimise.

Aastii to the rescue dont uderstand what you mean but never mind just
curious.:)

Your games are full screen, so when you open them, they take up a full monitor. When it does this, your mouse is put in a box that it can't get out of.

The only way to get the cursor out of the box is to get rid of the box (exit the program) or lift the cursor out of the box and drop it on your destkop (alt + tab out), then you can put it back in the box to carry on playing your game (maximising your game again)

Every now and then though you get a game that doesn't do that, like (if I remember correctly) Dirt 2. But yeah, the game locks your cursor in the monitor the game is on.

Yeah, if you run a game in "windowed mode" but "fullscreen" (Some games give you this option) it usually unlocks the mouse, you can do that with WoW. But if you are playing an FPS it is better to have the mouse locked in. Theres a game called "Big game hunter 2005" or something that me and a mate play, and it doesn't lock the mouse, it's really annoying!

Oh I could totally imagine how annoying it would be to play a FPS game or any game where you use the mouse if it didn't lock  Luckily I play Dirt 2 with a controller :p
