I'm looking to make a budget computer build. Since it's my first build, I'm seeking some advice. Please let me know what you think.

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
Processor: Intel i5-2500K
Mobo: Gigibyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Hard Drive:Western Digital Caviar Green WD20EARS 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W Continuous Power ATX12V version 2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC
Optical Drive: Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAP422 22x DVD±RW
Monitor:ASUS VH242H
GPU: Radeon 6850? (Feel free to suggest other budget alternatives)

Also, is 60 gig SSD boot drive upgrade for $100 worth it? Or should I wait for price to come down and speed to go up?

Whatever you do, you don't want to use a caviar green drive to boot from...they're slow as christmas as main drives. They're built for storage and power efficiency, not speed. :)

I'd shoot for a Caviar Black, if you're going with western digital. Samsung F3's are nice as well.

What would you be using the build for.
I am assuming Gaming. The HD6850 might be a bottleneck in few top-end games and won't be able to max them out but you would be fine at medium settings.
As Drenlin already said get the WD Caviar Black or the Samsung F3s.
Do you really need a 750W PSU. A 500W/550W would be more than enough. And as for the 8GB of RAM.4GB would be enough for now and if you feel the need in the future you can easily upgrade. :D

Otherwise the rest looks good, good thing you chose the Z68 since if anything bad happens to your GPU atleast your computer would still work and also is very helpful in diagnosis of the bad computer part.

As far for the SSD, wait off unless you really have an abundance of disposable income. I have a 250 G SSD on my work computer, its rediculous how fast it boots but I wouldnt shell out 400 dollars for one.
