Blackberry storm nightmare

Okay so about a month and a half ago I bought an unlocked blackberry storm 9530. It was an upgrade for a old blackberry I had. It was a prepaid account. So Since then I've been contacting tech support trying to get all the problems resolved, no email, no Internet, no bbm, I don't get most of my calls or texts and all they do is give me the run a round and they can't help me cause i'm prepaid, I have to switch to contract or flex pay. So yesterday I call to switch and oh no I can't switch cause I'm prepaid, I have to start over and lose my number. So after several people and a headache and being told just take it to one of there stores somewhere, I finally find out I'm already on a data plan, it just won't work and I need to change to a different plan and add blackberry Internet service, which I did all that and still nothing happens. so I contact them again and again and again, and half the time they disconnect me. Finally they come to the conclusion that they can't help and I have to talk to rim, so it only took about 5 or 6 people to transfer me to rim. The man at rim was very nice and helpful and was finally able to figure out that the phone wouldn't register because it had been flagged. so after we got that all taken care of and it finally registered to the wireless network I still didn't have any service books and I can't send them to my phone. So back to tech support I go and after at least 10 different people, they can't send me the books, I can't send the books either but they don't know why. That I should go out and find another person with exact same phone and service and put there SIMM card in my phone to get the service books, so since that not only impossible but also stupid they decided well all they can do it create a ticket, which would be fine except that there is no ticket number and they won't contact me back I just have to keep trying to send the books and if after 48 hours I still can't I can then contact them back. And I had to pay in advance to get the services I can't use. One person tells me I guarantee you this will work and the next says I can't guarantee this will work or fix it. Now they won't talk to me they just tell me to wait a couple of days.

Sorry everyone, I just really needed to vent, its all getting to me. At this point I wish I had never even bought the phone. Oh well.

I used to have that phone. Worst handset (beside the original storm) that Blackberry ever released in my opinion. Best thing I ever done with it was accidentally drop it into a curry which caused it to stop working and make me buy a new handset. Do you actually like it?

Some things about it I love and some things I hate. I like that its touch screen and that the screen is bigger than some other phones. I have a really hard time typing on it though. It's not my ideal phone by any means. I really wanted an iphone, are they any better?

In comparison to that Blackberry handset of course iPhones are good. But then again when you get a good few apps on it and running the battery life on an iPhone is absolutely appauling. IPhones are a waste of time until they sort out some form of longer lasting battery, in my opinion (but then again I want a phone for the purpose of a phone; texting and phone calls). I went for the new LG Optimus 2x in the end. At the time that I bought it it seemed by far the better spec'd phone than any alternative (including the iPhone).

That's a problem with the storm too, especially when I start running Pandora Radio. I still haven't got my storm fixed either. I talked to another 10 people at t-mobile. Blackberry told me that T-mobile hadn't assigned the phone number and data plan with them, so I told tmobile this over and over and over, but no one could understand that. Finally got one woman who finally figured out that since I changed phones that the IMEI number and pin didn't match ( I told them this at the beginning) and she thought that was why I can't get the service books , but they can't change it in there computer, but they don't know why. I finally emailed blackberry support again, and just told flat out no one I've talked to at t-mobile is smart enough to help me, and what should I do. They assured me that they would take care of it themselves. They weren't very happy with them either. One lady at t-mobile even had the nerve to tell me they were not going to help me and it wasn't there problem and then cut me off. I've had t-mobile for about 10 years, they used to be such a good company. Such a mess.:(

The Storm is awesome! But frankly, lacks in many ways! I would choose an android. I've had the Nexus one, and now the Nexus S.... no complains except the battery! Although, what Smartphone has long battery life anyway?

so according to blackberry my phone can never be setup because the vendor who sold it to me should never have had it in the first place, they show this phone going to a different vendor.
