Tiger is kinda old but yea it can be done. Panther might be easier though, and now there’s Lion out. But it’s technically illegal. More like against Apple’s license you agree to...

Since it’s probly against the TOS of this forum, I won’t mention it here. But if you search google hard enough you might be able to find it. OS X can run on x86 based CPUs.

Last time I tried it, it was actually surprisingly easy to install. A lot of stuff didn’t work properly, but none-the-less, it installed.

It's very possible and is done fairly easily, as stated above. It is illegal, though. It's against Apple's End-User License Agreement.

Honestly, it's not worth it though. In order to get all of the components and things to work properly, you have to have just to right pieces of hardware. By the time you go to all that work, you might as well just purchase a Mac. It would run smoother anyway.

There are list of desktops hardware you need or certain model laptops for it to be flawless working.

The issue is not hadware anymore, Apple does not want users to be able to do this and they have done well at stopping it, the last stable version of OSX to go on PC is 10.5 (please correct if wrong) but with Lion coming out, in the next year or two there will be a lot of new software that will not supprt 10.5 which means yay! You have OSX on your computer but not able to use anything new.

I say just stick with Windows and enjoy your own intergration of products Like Windows with Windows Mobile 7, Xbox 360 and Zune that gives you the same safe ease of use as OSX for end users who don't want more then internet, music, games and basic video/photo editing capabilities.

This thread will most likely be locked, as Apple only allows their software to be installed on hardware other than their own. We therefore cannot discuss it here.

I don't think there is anything against us telling him "illegal" and further more with the interent resources that could tell him how to do it that it is not worth his time.

It would be against the rules though to tell him how to do it.

Just saying, there is nothing wrong with saying it is illegal and not worth your time if you read everyone's response.
