I'm about buying a new monitor and i've to choose between 22 and 24 inches. What would be better for gaming/movies, and why?
Can i enjoy full hd on 22" as good as on 24"?

Also, I'd like to hear your opinion about this one:

Note: I'm from Poland, so don't need opinions on the price (it's very small ;)), but on the technical site.

I'll be grateful for your help!

Which one would be the best for games and movies/work:
a) Acer GD245HBD
b) iiyama Prolite E2409HDS
c) iiyama Prolite H2473HDS (LED)
d) iiyama Prolite E2410HDS

They're all cheapies, so go for the LEd which will give you better colour representation. 24" is better for all applications.

Most 22" monitors only support a lower resolution than most 24" monitors. Most 24 support up to 1920x1080. That makes it better for high def movies. For games, a lower resolution allows the game to look fine while running faster. On a higher resolution monitor, the video card or monitor will have to scale up the lower resolution, making it look bad. Essentially, 1600x900 looks better on a monitor that has a native resolution of 1600x900 than it does on a monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1080. I have a 24" monitor, and I found that as soon as I got it I started sitting much farther away from the screen. I did not notice increased eye strain, but that may be only because I was switching from a CRT.

i actually prefer 1080p on games, but since your looking all over the screen constantly in a game, smaller, higher dpi screens are easier on your eyes.

Screen size makes no difference, it's resolution that counts. You might have a 10" and 100" screen but if they're both 800x600 you won't see any more or less, the only that will vary is pixel density.

Look at response time, that will determine what is better... something like 2ms is pretty dam good. 5ms is about the average.

When it comes down to it, you should consider price point and full HD. Then narrow your search to the finer details, like a LED backlight or a HDMI port.

I personally have a acer 23.6" full hd monitor, I find it more than adeqaute for gaming and it will also give you more size for movies so you dont have to sit 6 inches away from the screen to enjoy.

So you should provide a price range and list of the features you are looking for.

So we have either 22" or 24", what else?

I decided for iiyama 24" 16:9

One of those:
e2409hds
or
e2407hds?

I think e2407 is a bit better.
