I have always use Windows (now running 7). I have messed with Mac due to my wife, but Linux I have never even seen. Which is better for gaming windows or Linux?

Stick with windows for gaming, Linux for daily/business use.

Windows has been and always will be the best platform for gaming, I do not understand why when some games I have seen that run native on Linux require less system resources to run making it the better platform but I have seen very few games that do run native on Linux.
Everything else though Linux I would say will take windows on, have just as good "free" music production software and in December will be getting what seems to be really high end video editing software from Light Works. So if you do not game Linux is the way to go, I am surfing the web, listening to music and running my update manager and only using 380 MB of memory, can Windows do that?
