Silverstone PSU or Corsair?

Hello. I apologize if this is being posted in the wrong section. I am trying to decide whether I should get a SILVERSTONE 1000W Power Supply or a CORSAIR Professional Series HX1050. I have read bad an good reviews for both and since I am somewhat new to computer parts, I don't really know which power supply, let alone company is better and more reliable. Help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

What kind of specs are you looking at? For 2 video cards, 750w-850w is more than enough, but just depends on what kind of video cards, and if you're thinking of overclocking at all.

For just one video card, a 650w is just fine. My Corsair TX650 powers my 570 just fine. If you're overclocking your CPU a lot and getting a 580, I would go with a 750w.

Thank you very much. This is really going to save me some money in the end. Very much appreciated.
