It should be a HD Radeon 6850 graphics card but its not identifiable at all, help please!

In device manager, look under display adapter and tell us what it says.

Do you have a dedicated card installed?

Then you are using onboard video not an actual dedicated video card. Do you know the model of motherboard it has?

top one will give motherboard model, and the bottom will give exact gpu model, tho the top one will also handle gpu as well.

i have a "intel DG43GT" motherboard according to CPU-Z, and yes i have a HD Radeon 6850 fixed into the motherboard. I don't get it, i've disabled the onboard graphics and they keep reinstalling themselves, even though i've activated the 6850 the onboard keeps on taking over

remove the GMA driver and install the driver to the HD6850. Otherwise it will keep going back.

have you gone into the motherboard's bios and set the primary display option to pci-e?

Also hook the monitor up to the videocard and it will use it
