r3000 blue screen

I got a r3000 from ebay, and ive been trying to install a new copy of XP. Anyway the compter has serious problems. It can run for a little while and then blue screen rapes me.

everything works besides the fact i get errors

First impression is that it's got some bad RAM, try re-seating the RAM sticks and see if it clears up the problem.

Yeah, definately seems like this is a memory issue. If it has more than one stick of ram try using one stick at a time and see what happens. Or you can download and create a bootable memtest cd and test the ram.
