I got into Oblivion last summer and ended up buying it when it was on sale on Steam. It is a really great game, though I just haven't been playing it lately. Once I get my GTX570 I'll probably start playing again.

I always preferred morrowind to be honest.
Still my favorite of the series.

Skyrim was good, but the story is too short and most of the side quest are repetitive, as our the dungeons (there are only a couple designs and they get repeated a lot)
Fun, but not worth $60.

Oblivion was my least favorite of the three. The ending to the main story in this one was ridiculously easy, there was almost no challenge, which made ending it kind of angering to me. The constant gates were a pain too, though the design of them were really cool. Knights of the Nine is by far my favorite expansion of any of them for any of the games. The arena was a ton of fun too.

Regardless, I still play morrowind, oblivion not so much.

I enjoyed it. I haven't played a whole lot, 30 hours. It's got a different feel than Skyrim. Skyrim feels more like a fighting action RPG while Oblivion feels like a happier and more light RPG with fighting being less up in your face. Different moods but both great.

My problem is I always end up turning into a vampire somehow, and I get annoyed trying to find empty grand soul gems to heal myself.

Lol! There was no real drive for me to complete it, all the quests were very similar and I the leveling system really annoyed me, if you got the best sword at level 2, it was useless at higher levels! The theory of that system is a great idea but in practice it doesnt work to well for me!

Are you kidding? I purposely became a vampire. so long I don't have to go to stores for my missions, I like just not even feeding on people so that my stats boost. Makes my guy a total beast.

That always used to wind me up too!

And also at the fact that if you for instance get suspended from one of the guilds, you have to find XX many 'insert rediculously hard to find item here'

I remember ages ago I accidentally killed a member of the Mages guild, and had to collect 25 daedra hearts in order to redeem my membership.

Played Oblivion, so did the wife. I had it on my computer and played it into the ground. Then she played it, and beat the whole entire complete game, all side quests, and beat it like that 3 TIMES on the computer, then played it on the xbox and she got all the achievements on the xbox version!.

Then she got into modding the computer version, and that was fun! I never had messed with modding it... but she not only got mods for it, she also made her own mods! (yeah my wife is awesome!) Hated morrowind cause I need my fast travel, but i do miss my travel stained pants!!!

We both liked oblivion so much better than skyrim. I played roughly 1/4 of all the quests in skyrim and quit. BORING and NO COLOR! Interior spaces made me think of wolfenstein the original because of the texture wrapping quality of the castles. The dialogue was TERRIBLE(!!!), snow looked like bird poo or spilled paint, you can nearly see the wire-frame of the rocks. And the enemies are too easy, too sparse, and the dragons.... I hated 'em.

Favorite official addon for Oblivion was shivering isles... its still stuck in my head.....

CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!!!

Same happened to me, but I already closed all the Oblivion gates, so I had to use the multiplication glitch to get them haha.

The glitch with the arrow and the equipping thing? That was hilarious, i filled the Mages College hall up with melons and the game crashed. Its a lot better on PC though, the amount of mods is incredible.
