It all looks good, but I'd spend less on the board and get a GA-Z77X-UD3H and then get an i7 3770K and overclock it using some sort of aftermarket cooling like the CM 212+. Not sure how much an overclock will help, it may help you.

I'd also drop the 2x SSDs and go for one large one, 240GB SanDisk Extreme would be good. I'm guessing you wanted two of those OCZ drives in RAID-0? A single SSD is fast enough, I think you'd be wasting money by RAID'ing them. The 256GB Crucial M4 would be another SSD to consider. I've used both the Extreme and the M4, both are very fast and very stable drives.

I'm running Photoshop Extended CS5.5 64-bit on an overclocked i5 2500K (4.3GHz), 16GB RAM, Crucial M4 128GB SSD and a Radeon HD 5870 just fine, so it should run great on your proposed system. :)

You skimped on the main item.
Since it's for photo work you're going to want a good ips display along with a calibration system.

Anything bigger than 1920x1080 is going to be $600+, so unless you want to spend that much, 1080 would be fine.

Yes, but need have good video card. Photoshop requirment good video card. Otherwise it wouldn't do good job.

You can run it on a 6540 easily. Photoshop doesn't require any processing with the video card, just needs to display a good picture. HD4000 is probably enough as it is.
