I don't know how you would buy that expansion separately. I would probably buy BF Premium instead. It will include all the expansion packs and a few extras.

According to the Battlefield wiki, Armored Kill has only been released on PS3 for Premium members so far. Premium members will get it on PC on the 11th and non-Premium players can get it on the 25th.

it's on the xbox too unless it's cross platform since it showed servers for it.

Premium costs the same as buying all the map pack seperately or less but you get the maps like 2 weeks before they go on sale i think and a few other goodies IIRC

Much cheaper. It would be about £60 to buy them all in the UK, Premium is £40, so the maps + tags + early access + videos + extra XP events for 2 thirds the price of the normal map packs.

Still a rip off though considering BF4 has all but been "unofficially" announced already, the game was already £40 and those of us that got the limited edition still have to pay full whack for something extra that we have essentially paid for twice

ah okay. This makes sense now... I just saw the option in the matches to check of for the expansion so I thought it was released. 50 dollars for premium on top of 60 dollars for the game is pretty insane. I heard close quarters is pretty damn weak

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill is received as a stand-alone download, not as part of a patch or update. This is different than the last DLC, Close Quarters which was included in an update issued automatically to Battlefield 3 owners.
