NBA 2K13 for Xbox freezing

So, ever since this game came out there has been one point where it will freeze consistently, and thats when I go to the GM to ask for a contract extension.

When I accept the terms of the contract it goes into the loading screen and freezes. Every time. I figured they would have fixed this with an update, but appears not.

I have not had the game freeze any other time, and it kinda sucks because I have to wait until the end of the season and hope my team offers me something good then.

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I cant imagine it being a problem with my Xbox, since its so consistent.

Try it on a friends Xbox?

they normally release an Xbox Live update to resolve common issues. Its just a matter of time.

I kept getting a crash on Red Faction Armageddon at the same area and I gave up on it. I put it on a few months ago, an update was installed and it was fine from then on.

Well this game has been out for a bit now, and it appears that this is a problem with every version of the game. And it actually hinders you from getting an achievement as well.

There has already been 2 updates released for this game and neither one resolved the issue.

So its a little upsetting that something like this wasnt a high priority as it makes the career mode rather sucky if you cant ask for a contract extension playing for your favorite team!

Maybe write a quick e-mail to the developers or open a thread on their support forum?

Its weird because I was experiencing a bit of frame rate issues on the Xbox360 when I was playing. Id try getting a new disk, because it may be scratched
