Backup Software

I need some software that will manage backups for me. I do a lot of photo and video work and will regularly be dumping new projects onto my HDD, which I need to back up onto my external HDD.

Sometimes I can go a few projects without backing and I'll have to look through the folders to see what's changed and what I need to copy over - this is a pain.

Is there any free software that will create a mirror image of a folder, or group of folders and just copy over the changes and new files when I turn my external on?

Or any other suggestions? Thanks!

I don't know about free but I use Second Copy available at the link below. License fees are reasonable. You can set your profiles to run daily, every few days, weekly or just about anything you want. Available at the link below.

its called second backup free.. it can be set up to backup only modified files (providing the backup media is plugged in)
