Problem with new pc build

I just recently built my first rig for gaming. My specs are listed below
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670k
GPU:ASUS GTX 780
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
PSU:Corsair TW750M
Cooler:Corsair H80i
Hardrive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (x2 Running in Raid 0)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H

This is my first pc build, and I just finished building it and have not overclocked or anything. When I try and run anything I just get horrible performance, like in Battlefield 3 at 1920x1080 at ultra settings was only getting maybe 5-10 fps. Even things like Minecraft are running very poorly on my brand new system. I would greatly appreciate if you could help my figure out what I've either missed or did wrong. Thanks

Ok... I would expect that you may have a faulty piece of hardware, or perhaps your RAID isn't configured properly.

Try testing your RAM with Memtest86 (download the ISO, burn to CD, boot off it) and I know it's a pain, but remove one of your 1TB drives, destroy your RAID configuration and reinstall Windows on one drive, just to see if that is the cause.

Is there any other possible answers to why this is happening before I destroy my RAID configuration?

Well it could be a bad RAID configuration, or bad RAM, or maybe one of your components isn't seated properly.

Have you tried reseating the graphics card and the RAM and testing the RAM?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers? Graphics, chipset, sound, etc?

What temperature is your CPU running at? Have you installed the CPU cooler correctly and is it cooling it effectively?

You need to try everything really in order to find out what the problem could be. It could be the RAID array, I don't know, but it's worth checking. It could be you RAM, it's worth checking.

Like this, with the purple text. Follow the guide I gave you, run BF3 in 32 bit mode and take a screenie.

make sure that the gpu drivers are installed and restarted pc after installed, up to date and that the nvidia control panel is registering on the desktop and that within the control panel the primary gpu is the gtx 780.

it may be trying to use the intel hd graphics for what ever reason, hense why its giving you 5-10fps.

type run, dxdiag and then scroll through and it should say nvidia gtx 780 and not hd 4000.

if it doesn't register, make sure the gpu is correctly seated, and that both/single fans are spinning. try it in a different slot if it is not working.

doubt it would be cpu, but check the usage when playing on bf ultra.

check the ram with memtest86 or memtest 4.0

run it using only 1 hard drive with the main op system on.

yes, it is trying to use the intel hd graphics. Under display it says
Name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
I didn't personally build my pc, I got a friend of mine to build it, who's been building computers for over 20 years and also has his own business building computers, but when I try to open the NVIDIA control panel, it says "NVIDIA Display settings are not available. You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU.

Is the display cable plugged in to the graphics card? You may have plugged it in to the motherboard instead. If I understand correctly the motherboard display ports would be connected to the integrated graphics correct?

He must have it plugged into the Mobo. It makes sense now. Plug it into the GPU, OP. It will be about 6 inches from where you currently have it plugged in.

Both the cables are connected from my PSU to my GPU already, and the fans are spinning and the GEFORCE GTX is glowing on the card, and it's in place in the PCI Express slot securely.

do you have the main hdmi/vga cable plugged into the card. not the power cable but the main header on the BACK of the pc, on the graphics card itself and not the motherboard header as mentioned by others before.

basically vga/hdmi from gpu to vga/hdmi on the tv/monitor. if you have it plugged into the motherboard header then it will run the hd 4600 graphics, make sure it is plugged into the card on the back of the case and not the motherboard.
