I recently installed the Battlefield 4 Beta and have been dumping some hours into it.. I really enjoyed BF3, so it's safe to assume that i've been enjoying 4 thus far..

Has anyone else had a chance to get into BF4 and give the Beta a go?

What kind of system are you running it with?

Just downloaded the beta, will play tomorrow and get back with you. I've already got the game preordered through gamestop. Can't wait.

I think I liked BF3 a little more, but i haven't played it enough to really say. The layout is a little different, was used to the other so i don't love them changing it, but it works. Unless they didn't put in the final lighting and other graphic options, then idk why but i can actually run this smoother on ultra than i can BF3, even though the recommended specs went up.

Ehh its alright nothing really special, i could literally sit here for hours and nitpick every single thing bad about it but i wont. When i do buy the game for pc or ps4 i WILL hate the beta map, happened with BF3 as well.

Ok, beta is installed but origin will not let me click on the play button. Any ideas?

edit - nevermind, the beta ended yesterday but I tried playing yesterday and it still wouldn't allow me to click on play.

The beta ended Monday the 14th, actually.

Am i alone in thinking the maps in BF4 are really crap?

When you compare them to BF:BC2 and BF3 they are imo...also game play seems to have changed quite a bit,It doesn't feel like BF to me anymore.

I have been thinking about getting this after loving BC2 and enjoying BF3. Not terribly reassuring to hear. Anything specific you can note that would be causing it to not feel like BF?

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of the game so far. I'm sure I'll get used to it and get better, but right now I just suck at it.

I was that way when i made the move to it on PC, was decent but i sucked so i didnt like it, but as i got better it seemed better.

Hoping i'll have enough for black friday sales, main game i want cuz i can probz borrow most others for the 360, not ideal but free so that or not play it or wait forever, i pick 360

I like the features in BF4, the upgrade is worth it.
But sadly i will need a better PC for it, the alpha lagged to much, the beta worked well but lagged too even after new drivers, so I can only play it after I get a good PC.
Also I agree with Shane the maps look crap, I haven't played them myself, but missing the legendary maps like B2K, Caspian border in BF4.
