How much of a GPU Upgrade?

So I recently ordered a XFX Ultra OC HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 vs my current ASUS HD 6570 1GB GDDR3. According to this site (it shows gpu stats) how much of an FPS upgrade/boost am I getting using any game as an example or even just a general range? http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=675&card2=655#

The AMD Radeon HD 7770 factory OC stats:
Core: 1095
Mem: 2490

AMD Radeon HD 6570 GDDR3 stats:
Core: 650
Mem: 900

Yes, I've seen that site too, but it doesn't convince me. The stats are 2x-3x, but does that convert straight into FPS, meaning a 2x-3x boost in FPS?

I can guarantee you that the 7770 is a much more powerful card than the 6570. Good upgrade. :good:

It will be worth it. I would (if you're tech savy), remove the heatsink and replace the thermal paste. Also, make sure you get the latest drivers and do a clean driver install. If you still have the 6570 installed, do some bench marks and let us know the improvement ;)

Good luck

Yeah I'm tech savy, but I just don't like to replace thermal paste if I don't have to. If you really want, what are some good gpu benchmarking softwares I should use? I'll benchmark the 6570 before I replace and the 7770 after I install. The 7770 hasn't even shipped yet ):

Really, id use 3DMark11 and run it 3 times at stock everything, then if you apply OC run it again and give us an average OC and Stock score.

But but but. I don't OC my gpu. ): Well I used too, but it got unstable so I don't even want to mess with it because I'm too lazy to find a good setting and forgot what I had back then

Thats fine, just do stock then.

Here you go! These were all done under the same conditions. Quite an upgrade I would say.
