Few months ago i purchased of ebay some cheap no brand 64 gb sd card that does seem to be working fine but its writing speed is somewhere about 3.4 MB. Then recently i purchased another one at 8 GB just to have it as an installation "USB" which is same class also no brand and it came with same card reader as the first one... But this one actually writes at 11 MB. How come that huge difference ? They are both same class and no branded yet this one is one is almost x4 faster ? Can somebody tell me more about it, i am interested...

If the 8GB one is branded then it's likely a quality difference. Or the 'no brand' one isn't actually Class 10.

SD cards wildly differ on performance depending on the card.

Since you're buying no-name garbage, poor performance is somewhat expected.

A Class 10 card has a guaranteed minimum speed of 10 MB/s. Anything slower than that isn't Class 10.

For the most part, you don't want to rely on the Class when looking at speed, as most brand-name cards today are Class 10 anyway. You'll want to look at the "MB/s" speed instead.
