Case mod- is it possible?

I want to remove my power button and replace it with an ignition key switch. As in, you insert and turn a key and the computer starts, like when you start a car. Could it work?

Have you thought that turning a key in a vehicle sends a relay to the starter?

Try it. Report back. If it works, you've done something that is logical. You press a button, it sends a relay, the system starts.

You have to find the space first. That lock won't fit easily without interference in most cases.

Yeah, like all of the components from the Blue Beast would fit in that thing.

You're funny. It's not like you're running 10 drives and 5 GPU's. Get over yourself. It would all fit in that case without an issue.

They made that case for years. They don't make them anymore though.

It also wouldn't surprise me if you ever found yourself the stealth bomber case by InWin

Also....
When I (might) buy a Windows 95/98 computer later I (might) consider putting it in that case, because you have to admit, that is pretty cool.

No, it wouldn't. That old hardware doesn't deserve a nice case like that.
