Having had some issues with my Lenovo laptop with sluggish internet etc, I found a program called Reimageplus.com.

It seemed to do a good scan of my computer but to fix this for one year is asking for £21.

Before I purchase this, What I would like to ask you very clever experts is is this a genuine help source.

There are so many on the internet searched for by google, I do not want to be ripped off.

I would appreciate your help.
Thanks

Don't spend any money on boosting softwares. You can have the same results with free softwares.

Can you describe what kind of trouble are you having? We'll help you here :)

Sluggish internet.

Thanks for you offer of help.

The issue is sluggish internet.

I use Mozilla Firefox my favoured browser and I struggle when clicking on tabs, nothing happens for a while then it moves over.

Generally very sluggish.

Thanks

There's many programs out there such as CCleaner that work very well, and have a free option.

This issue could also be related to your laptop as something could be failing.

Please do not create multiple copies of threads in different sections.

As said above, use CCleaner then if it doesn't change a thing head over to the security section and read the "before posting" sticky. Create a thread with logs from the software recommended.

Have you tried downloading an open source program first to try and remedy the problem? Toolwiz Care is a free program that I use for performance improvements and it works reasonably well.

EDIT: On another note, back in Iolo's hay-day, System Mechanic Professional used to be my program of choice/recommendation. But as the years have progressed the software has become more and more resource intensive (as they tend to do) with all of the convenient bells n' whistles that people want nowadays. TWC is a relatively light program that doesn't bog down the CPU or memory when running scans and even has an option to disable background services that naturally slow down your system (if they are not needed for a certain period of time).

Thanks for the CCCleaner tip, I have used it now and seems to have solved the sluggish internet problem.

It however seems to lose my cashe (I think its called) when I wanted to look at my bank account this morning the user id had disapeared I had to re-set it.

How can I stop that from happening again.

Thanks

There's an area in CCleaner where you can exclude sites from having cookies deleted. Under Options > Cookies

On the new ccleaner there are two tabs under "cleaning". I think by going on application you can set it so that it doesn't delete cookies.
