Corsair TX 650 and SLI

Wow, it has been really long since my last post on the forum - life's been crazy.

Back to the topic though. I will be buying a 4K screen next month and I feel this begs an upgrade, since I am only having one MSI GTX 970 Gaming G4. From what I understand you need to have at least two of these to successfully game in 4K.

Will Corsair TX 650 handle the 970 SLI with i7 4790K processor?

I wouldn't risk it, especially if you play on overclocking. Would look for at least 750W

It depends really I would expect over 650w with the setup but I don't know how much 970s use and it depends what other components you have. I wouldn't risk it id say at least 750w.

I also couldn't say what 4k will be like with 2 gtx 970s due to their 3.5gb full speed and 0.5gb slow speed memory. For me many games especially high usage games it will from experience use close to 4gb therefore using the slow speed ram on 970's. Possibly making games stutter at that usage but I'd certainly look into this before buying a 4k screen. 4k is awesome though
