I assume you are using firefox as your browser? Have you tried using IE or another browser? Is your system date and time correct?

System date and time is correct. I mainly use Chrome. But I did try IE and Firefox. None of them work.

Definitely mind boggling with 2 systems having the same issue with different hardware I would assume. I would say bring in a wireless laptop somehow and see if it can access those sights. If not, then I'm assuming its something with the router.

When I said reset it, that doesn't mean just unplugging and plugging it back in. You need to physically reset the router back to default settings. Usually there is a reset button on the back of the router.

Yeah, I got that. I did reset to factory settings, twice. Once via web interface, and when it didn't work, with a physical button. My fiancee's computer is a laptop. Tomorrow she is at her uni and then she will test the sites and I will let you know. My theory is that, all said and done, it's the router that's going belly up... Mind you, that was a very, very cheap router (wasn't my decision to get it).

Is your modem separate from the router or do you have one of the modem/router combo units?

I went to Dlinks's site to see if there was firmware but the site is craptastic. I can't get the downloads link to work. http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/home-solutions/connect/go/go-rt-n300-wireless-n-300-easy-router#

I tried IE and that didn 't even render the Fing page!

Get a new router! Dlink is crap anyway. Get this if you can afford it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320091

If you know how I would flash it with DD-WRT firmware. Or just make sure to keep the firmware updated. http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=171783&highlight=

That's what I though anyway. But... here is something to boggle the mind. My fiancee took her laptop to school, all sites work no problem (still seems like faulty router to me). I unplugged the cable from the router and plugged it directly to the wall, bypassing the router altogether. The sites are still not working, even without the router's interference. I'm thinking at this point, maybe I should call mt ISP?

Sounds like it might be an ISP issue, yeah. If the laptop was having issues it wouldn't work, even when away from home.

Then it ain't the router. You could be losings packets or it's your modem. We had a drop with bad ingress. So if it isn't the modem have them check the line or drop for ingress. Or egress...

Ok, final update. I have contacted IPS. They have no clue, what could have prompted the problem, and even the router, though bad, seems to be working fine. But, turns out I was elegible for a free speed upgrade, and that very change solved all of the issues I had. How odd indeed...

But all is well now. Thanks guys for all the help and ideas you provided!

Must have either been throttling you (or your area) or you just weren't getting the bandwidth needed.

Either way, issue solved! Interesting how that worked..
