I have narrowed my choices to 3 brand of the GTX 970:
1. The EVGA GTX 970 FTW which all adds up to (plus my other parts that im buying)* = $880 AUD

2. The Galax GTX 970 HOF which adds up to (plus my other parts that im buying)* = $905 AUD

3. The Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 which adds up to (plus my other parts that im buying)* = $874 AUD

So which would be better for me i dont care about the price i just dont want to spend over $1000 AUD, i lay at 1080p and want to max everything out with 60 fps and i dont want to overclock i dont see the need to

*i am also buying a new power supply and keyboard which is why is cost up to $900 AUD

The Galax HOF seems to fair very well through reviews (and it the fastest with it's boosted clock speed).

EVGA is my personal pick but it'll be the loudest.

I'd get the Gigabyte myself. Galax is an offshoot of a now failed Galaxy, which never was much of a company I would recommend over other brands. That coupled with the fact that it's the most expensive too and the lowest warranty. Also most cards can be overclocked pretty easily on your own so factory overclocks are pointless. HOF probably has better cooling, but unless you're comparing it to a reference design, the differences won't be huge.

Was the MSI not available? I would choose Gigabyte/MSI, over the others.

I'm guessing you have your computer positioned where you see its insides all the time. If looks take priority of over performance, then the "blue" one is the way to go. Of course, somewhat that is good at dissembling and painting can get any look they want from any component.

it is but my computer lighting is very blue and it would ruin the look of it
