Cam girl in need of new desktop Tonight please help

Hi everyone, as my title says I am a cam girl. My laptop finally died last night, my C drive is corrupted, I reset my PC, and I have no way to get a new copy of Windows 10 within a reasonable amount of time.

So I need to buy a desktop PC literally tonight, and try and get it delivered by Friday at the latest. I have an amazon prime account, so ideally I would e to buy from there but if anyone can help me find a desktop from another site that is pretty good I will get it from there instead.

I don't haven time to build one, I would like one that is already built. Even if it is a normal brand like HP I would be ok with that as long as it is a good investment and I won't be getting ripped off.

Ideally I would like something with a monitor but I have a TV and HDMI I can use in the mean time if it saves me money.

My budget is $650 max

Please help!!

Thanks for the reply, are you sure that one is good? I have heard Dell is a really bad company. Maybe I'm wrong?

Also the desktop is going to be in my bedroom, and the modem etc. Is all in the living room, will the desktop work that far away from the modem or does it need to be directly plugged into it for it to work?

You'll need a wireless card to get internet unless you want to run a cable from desktop to modem/router. I really suggest finding a computer store near you that sells individual components and build it yourself though. I really can't recommend HP as they are garbage systems anymore. Dells desktops are mostly fine, I won't recommend their consumer laptops though.

she said she needs it by friday, might be tough for a first-timer to grab everything that fast and assemble it, and make sure its stable

I've guided a friend of mine on how to build a computer through the interwebs entirely and it only took him half a day and we're talking about a guy who had zero knowledge of computers.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

As much as I had intended to build my own PC before this happened, unfortunately this situation has changed that for me :( I really need it pre built, I'm too frustrated to take on a task like that. Plus unfortunately I don't have a vehicle so I can't drive far for parts.

I don't have any stores in my area that carry specific parts to build a full PC :(

Also I am not against a laptop, I just thought it would be cheaper and I would have more power and more "life time" with a desktop.

Also, I was thinking of just downloading Windows 10 with the PC on a DVD and installing the operating system on my older laptop and use it as my backup and or laptop whenever I feel like using it.

But if a laptop is a better option im open to suggestions as well :)

As long as you know what the previous activation key was, then you can use it to activate 10.

I suppose it will if you accept the limitations it will have. I always thought you had 30 days to activate before it wouldn't allow you to log in.

Unless you can find something similar, would definitely stay with the latest Intel technology though. And it doesn't look like it comes with a wireless adapter, so you would need to get one.

I thought it did? said something about b/g/n card down below. You gotta look for it though

I was just about to ask about adapters

I was also thinking a laptop may be a better idea for me.

I need to get really close and adjust the cam a lot up close when I'm performing even, it seems like it's going to be difficult to do that on a bed.

It's also getting complicated when I really think about setting up the TV in my room, or buying another monitor.

But a desktop just seems like such a better investment so difficult.
