That seems pretty good, but the desktop has marginally better specs. For just camming though, I doubt you would notice a difference

I believe you could finish a computer even faster than that and I could also, but what if she runs into problems, it can take time diagnosing problems and waiting for replies on here, if she buys it from a shop and it doesn't work she should be able to go straight back and exchange it for another or at least fix it for her for free.

How long does it take amazon to send it?

Do you not have any local retailers?
You could go in a few shops and snap some pics of the computers you like in your price range, then we can tell you which looks best. This also means you should be able to go straight back the same day and return it or exchange it if its defective.

Hey hun thanks for the replies, I think I like this line. I like the idea of having good a touchscreen high functioning laptop.

I would go to local places, but I don't have a car. I've searched and it seems most places I my area besides best buy have only a few options.

Do you have any Suggestions of laptops that fit this?

I think I will build a separate desktop PC in the future myself, I've always wanted to :)

The second one is better. It's also lighter and thinner because it doens't have that stoneage cd drive in it like the first one. Also that screen. Damn.

But it doesn't have an SSD. That's a shame.
You will never ever buy a laptop with an HDD again once you have gotten use to the speed of an SSD.
Problem is that you get less space for the money. You are properly gonna end up with a 256gb SSD instead of a 1TB HDD. And being a cam girl, i don't know if space is an issue.
If space is a priority, i'll say go for it.
Just note, that some programs are not optimized for a 4k display.
Those apps are gonna look very small. You will also need to scale windows.

Thanks for the info glitch

Personally I would sacrifice memory for speed anyday. Especially with what I do, it's important for me to have the best speeds I can so my stream is steady.

But I also would take a 1080 display with better internal specs over a 4k resolution with crappier internals

After doing more research I see why John suggested that Dell, it has great specs for the price.

Does anyone else have any suggestions of great laptops with great specs for a decently good price? Or are they Toshiba s the best im going to find?

I also found this, it may just be marketing but this laptop seems pretty good I guess. I don't know as much as much about all the specs like you guys do so thanks for the info

I have found this one. It's cheaper, and actually a little faster. Has a 256gb SSD too. And it looks better too.
