galexy s5 marshmallow

ok so i have an s5 on att and i dont understand why the marshmallow update has not gotten to my phone. i have checked for updates and it just says my phones is up to date. is there anyway i can get marshmallow faster?

Carriers can take a while to upgrade software on certain phones. They need to make sure everything passes their scrutiny first. If you really want it and are somewhat technically adept (can understand and follow instructions in a YouTube tutorial for your device/Carrier), just Root the phone and flash a Marshmallow ROM.

They sometime don't upgrade the software. That way people will change their smartphone for a newer version of Android. It might be worth asking the carriers if they plan on upgrading it.

att said they were rolling out the marshmallow as of august 27th. all the other carriers already rolled out the update. if i dont find a way to get the update i am going to have my phone unlocked and switch to t mobile when my contract expires in may.
