Help Please - Motherboard Advice

Hi,

I am looking for a computer build that will suit my and my family's needs for gaming, video editing, and photo editing.

I am having a difficult time deciding on a motherboard.

For the motherboard, I am trying to decide between the Asus Tuf Z270 Mark 1, the Asus Rog Maximus Hero IX or the Asus Maximus ix Code? Which one would you recommend for a gaming and video editing build and why?

Thank you so much for your help in advance. I really appreciate it.

Have a wonderful day!

I like the Hero...looks like that board would be well rounded for what you want it for. Unless you need wifi...then Code is your option. Specs looked pretty much the same across, other than a few options that separate them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think changing motherboard will give you more video editing or gaming capabilities. As long as you can OC and fits all the RAM you need you should be fine. What CPU do you have?

I think this member is trying to decide on which three ASUS motherboards to choose from to start his build. I think he or she just wants opinions on which board would be the best for his or hers intentions

No I know, I´m just saying that different Motherboards will hardly make a difference if you are not interested in overclocking or SLI. Or if it can´t use all the RAM you need. He/She didn´t really give out much info.
