Hello, i just opened my new laptop for the first time and i saw a connection lead with no device installed and i was just wondering what can be pluged in ?

Thats a slot for an optional MSATA storage drive.. up to you if you wish to populate it for more storage.

Here is example of one if unfamiliar..
