I currently don't have a OS on my pc. So i got windows 10 and made a bootable device and when ever i start my computer it gets stuck on the windows screen. I thought it may have been a bad partition because i had one on my hard drive and thats why i needed the new os. But i tried taking out the hard drive just to see what would happen and it still gets stuck
Any ideas?

Are you using a DVD or usb? Does it actually boot to the install? How did you create the bootable device?

What key is it? You can only use a key designed for that OS. You can't use a pro key for a home install or vice versa.

Im pretty sure its the right key because i got it from the windows website and used the link to download the the tool in an email microsoft sent me with key

Could this be a problem with my computer or most likly the key?

If microsoft gave you the key then it should work. What was the exact message you got? Did you enter the key correctly? Some keys are hard to read.

I just fixed the problem, i clicked on repair windows and ran a trouble shooting thing and that fixed it. Thank you though!

Hm, I've never used the Windows 10 repair utility, never had a need for it. If it outputs any reason, what came up about it? Would be helpful to users that like to do things manually :)
