Can't connect to uni wifi after latest win10 update

I noticed I can't connect to my uni's wifi even tho I can still connect to my home wifi.

I had run an installer on my laptop that set it up to connect to the uni wifi and connect it did for a long time (weeks) and recently I noticed it won't connect any more.

I've not modified anything on the laptop, the only thing that comes to mind that has changed recently is the big recent win 10 update.

I ran the installer again after the update but it made no difference. It says can't connect to this network.

I can still connect with my phone fine.

Anyone know what the problem may be?

What laptop or wifi chipset is it?

You could probably open a ticket with your uni help desk that it doesn't work anymore and they'll walk you through it.

Rollback the wifi driver. The latest update is playing around with the amd radeon 4200 series integrated video and causing problems.

This was a huge PITA to figure out how to fix.

Most Windows Update driver issues can be fixed by uninstalling the device in Device Manager and rebooting, particularly WiFi. Not so with the Radeon issue.

Doing a rollback of the video driver fixed 2 out of 3 pcs I've had to fix because of the update. The other one I had to go back to previous build in order to fix it. Reinstalling correct.driver wouldn't work.

I had to attempt to install latest W10 driver, manually find the driver folder for it (which it would refuse and still use generic VGA driver). Then uninstall device and restart and it would then use that folder and work correctly. Discovered it by accident.
