'Rented' a Meraki MR84 from work for the weekend :p

Wish I had a better wireless NIC to test against it though..

Now you need a switch to provide more than 1Gbps. Since Comcast tends to overprovision by 20% or so, I wonder if you bonded 2 of the 4 NIC's on the modem (which my MB8600 supports), if you'd actually get closer to 1.2Gbps.

Hah. It'd be nice if the edgrouter offloaded LACP but no dice. I don't really have anything that can do that while doing NAT at line rate. :(

Was hoping for some DOCSIS3.1 modems with a SFP+ cage but I guess it will be a while.

I'd be just fine with a multi rate ethernet port. Even 2.5Gbps would be awesome!

CenturyLink - included in my rent, still sucks like my apartment last year.

How do you exist with that?

Most included ISPs in rent are pretty garbage, do they share that with the rest of the unit or do you at least get your own line?

I'd fade out of existence ala Marty McFly at 10mbps.

The question contradicts the statement behind it.

We all just like to make fun of @Darren 's poor excuse for a WAN connection.
Damn we somehow managed to post at the same time LOL. Jinxed it :p

WAN? Um, pretty sure this is to do with fibre optic/coaxial cables with high speed internet..

And um not really, idk how big the area is. I mean do you live within walking distance? Would be a pretty darn coincidence if you did :p
