Looking at an upgrade at some point this year. Pretty much narrowed it down to one of these cards. Which do you prefer and why? Thank you!

Depends on the deal you can find. Also note some of the 560 are actually '560D' with 896 shaders instead of 1024, making them just Radeon 460 rebrands.

The 1024 shader 560 and the stock 1050 are pretty synonymous, I'd just go with whatever you find the better deal on.

essentially they are the same but Nvidia software offers much more, support and software etc. But the 1050 ti is noticeably better.

I miss Radeon software after getting my 1080. It's definitely better than the Windows XP era Nvidia control panel and the bloated mess that is Geforce Experience. I get more driver updates now though.

But, can you broadcast, record, and all that by pressing two buttons with AMD? Not to mention play games on your phone, or Nvidia Shield?

Yup. Maybe not 2 buttons exactly but it's baked right into the drivers and pretty darn easy. I have zero interest in people watching me play video games though so that's irrelevant for me (and the vast majority of users). Why do I want to play games on a crappy phone screen?

Well, if you don't care about those than that's your prerogative, I mean in the end it's all up to preference. It's just that most people go with Nvidia.
These sites are not very accurate.

@dgrevillius With the current prices, go with whatever's cheapest.
I agree, whatever brand is your fancy.

Darn, now I want to borrow/buy an AMD card just to see the difference. I had an ATI card back in the day and quite liked the software. Heard good and bad things about ATI/AMD.
