Are these parts compatible?

PC part picker says they're not, but i've asked many people who said they are.

Its not compatible no.

It may work even though its not officially compatible, but I would not risk it, just find a board that is.

It's possible the manufacturer just didn't test the 7100 with the motherboard. That's only a validated support list.

I can't imagine why a 6th gen 6100 and Pentium would be supported but a 7100 wouldn't.

My assumption is that it would work fine, but maybe it's not worth the risk? Depends on return policy, I suppose.
