I have a HP EliteDesk 800 G1, Intel Core i5-4570 Quad-Core 3.2GHz it currently has 16 GB DDR3 it has 4 slots with sticks on the motherboard which I am guessing that hold 4 GB each for the total of 16. is it possible to pull 2 out and add two stick of 8GB each of RIPJAW G.SKILL DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 PC3-12800 4GX2 that I salvaged out of my last computer that the mother board failed on me ? that would give me a total of 24GB that I could work with for a long time..i do not have another computer to put it into so that is the reason I ask. this is the refurb machine I had Hp Printer and USB questions on..both ot those issues have been corrected.
thanks!

My question to you would be how much ram is being used when you are doing the most ram intensive thing? If you aren't going over 80 percent there is no need to add more.
