I have a Radeon HD 7570 that I am thinking of upgrading my old Acer Aspire desktop with, it's the low profile version of the card. I am wondering if it would work with a 250W PSU just to make sure that the computer is safe when I use the card. I also want to know about any potential bottlenecks, here are the specs of my old Acer:

Acer Aspire M1201 E1721a:
  • AMD Phenom 8550 X3 2.2GHz CPU
  • EVGA GeForce 210 1GB
  • 3GB DDR2-800MHz RAM
  • 320GB WDBlue Hard Drive @ 7200RPM
  • 250W PSU
  • Windows 8.1
Would this be a suitable card? This computer's performance is pretty good, it can do a lot of the same things a modern PC can and it runs Windows 8.1 really well.
I am thinking of squeezing a bit more performance out of it, so would the Radeon HD 7570 be a good pick? Or should I stick with the GeForce 210?

I have 2 computers, and I use both the old desktop and the laptop. I just play a lot more games on the laptop as it's higher specs are more suited for games.

The 7570 will use max 60 watts. You can check your system with psu calculator but to be honest you should have no less then a good 400 watt psu in there.

I don't have money to upgrade my PSU. I think I'll just stick with the GeForce 210, as I only really watch movies and browse the Internet with this computer anyways. I use my laptop for the same thing, but I also play games on the laptop because it's more powerful.
The GeForce 210 is still a pretty good card for this system considering the usage purpose and specs of this system. Plus, the GPU originally in this system was a crappy ATi integrated thing I was the one who put the G210 in it.

The 210 was never very good.

I think you'll be alright, I used to have 3x 7570 on a 430w mining rig.

I'm still keeping the g210 in my desktop as I'm unsure about putting the 7570 in a system with a 250W PSU, so I'll just stick with the Geforce 210.
