Can't connect my printer to my WiFi

Two days ago, I bought a new All-In-One pc and I can't get my wireless printer connected to my Wi-Fi router. Every single available network it's showing me, rejects my password. I know it's right because I've been connected to my Wi-Fi for weeks with my old pc & my smartphone. What could be the problem? Thanks

What printer do you have? Not much we can do to help here. Have you tried resetting your router?

So is the printer new as well or have you had it connected to the network before? If all you have to do is install the printer to the new pc then just add the printer and it should detect it that its on the network. Usually with wireless printers that don't have displays so that you can setup wireless network, a usb cable is required to setup network SSID and security to the printer before it will connect. If you are having problems I suggest contacting Canon for support. Does your all in one pc have internet access?

No the printer isn't knew. I had it connected to my old pc for quite awhile. I even reinstalled it 5 times, due to having to reinstall windows 5 times. I contacted Canon yesterday. They wanted me toi download something to my smartphone, but for some reason, downloads were painfully slow & I didn't have time to complete it & I was buisy today also. Troubleshooter said something about DNS Server not responding. Whatever that means

Then if it was already connected to the old pc then it was already attached to the network or did you have it connected via usb? When installing it on a new pc all you have to do is just go to add a printer and it should see it. Unless your all in one pc isn't attached to the network correctly.

I had it connected to my old pc, wirelessly. The weird thing is, I don't recognize any of the available networks it's showing me and every single one of them, rejects my password and I know it's the right password because I wrote it down when I got the router. This is what the trouble shooter said when I tried to connect it via usb: Untitled.jpg

Ok according to that there is something wrong with your network connection. Can you run a command prompt window as admin and run the command ipconfig /all

Then post a screenshot of the output.

Ok, looks good. You got a dhcp address, and dns servers and a valid internal IP.

Now try the following, open the same command prompt and type this

ping www.computerofurum.com and then hit enter and post results again.

You're computer isn't even at play here. If you can't connect the printer to the router you need to be starting there. Most routers have a push button functionality called WPS. The setup wizard for the printer should have that ability somewhere. I've got a very similar Canon and it was a bit finnicky getting it on my network.

Do it without the ipconfig /all part of it. just ype

ping www.computerforum.com and hit enter.

Do you physically have internet on this machine? Are you able to browse to different websites? If so, I don't understand why you are getting the dns issue. Something just don't jive here.

You omitted ping in front. However, now that you said your phone has been slow I suspect this is a wireless issue from the router. What router do you have? Have you tried updating the firmware for it? So if you have internet on your computer then I can assume no issues using ethernet cable but only wireless issues. Do you know if anyone else is having wireless issues when trying to connect to your network?

I have a TP-Link TC-W7960 router. It's only a few weeks old, so it shouldn't need updated already should it? Yes. No one seems to be able to connect to my router wirelessly. Sorry for the delay in replying. I dfidn't feel well last night
