Custom rig

Hi.. I have my old rig with me. I am thinking of giving it to my friend.

Board: Asus z270A
Processor: Intel 7700 3.6 ghz
GPU: Gigabyte Rx 480 8gb
Ram: Corsair Vengence 3200 16gbs (8x2)
Cooler Master 550W Gold standard PSU
2 Corsair Fans

I want to max out (get new parts or exchange with) on the same motherboard.

Can you suggest me what can I do to make it more kickass performance wise for my friend?

Honestly a faster GPU and it should be golden, depends what you're trying to do. That isn't bad to begin with.

Are you selling it to him or just giving it to him? Either way, I would just leave it alone. You won't get that much more perfomance out of it by paying 250 bucks or more for a better video card.

As was stated, it's a decent performer. Depending on the games played, a GPU upgrade would make a noticeable difference, but I wouldn't purchase anything below a 1660ti (~$280) or the upgrade wouldn't be worth it.

Honestly if you can find a used 1070ti or 1080 at a decent price I'd throw one of those in.

If you want to put a brand new GPU in go with a 1660ti.

So be a pal and drop a 2080Ti in it, you'll be BFFs for the foreseeable future.
Haha, I wish I could. But I think for 20 series I would have to change the motherboard too. Am I right?

Yesss.. is it better than 1070ti or 1080? I saw one for $279.00
